Shovelman,

Very interesting topic with lots of interesting rarities: thanks for sharing.
Question: is the 3-axle Steyr 91 tipper a normal Conrad product or is it a modified model? I knew about 2-axle models (tilt and snowplough for example), but I have never heard of that version.

Regards.
Guy

Hi Guy,

I purchased the model in 1992 at a swap meet near Nürnberg. It came in the generic white box that Conrad often used, but there was no silver sticker on the end flap!? Also, it never appeared in any Conrad catalog that I have seen. I will send the photos to Christine Conrad so she can ask her father if it is 'real'. If she replies I will let you know.

'All the best,

John

Hi John,

Many thanks for the "pragmatic" approach of your reply: let's wait and see for the Conrad reply.

Kind regards.
Guy

la forumi rouge,

It is nice to know that you and others enjoy seeing the photos.

My apologies as I missed your earlier question. The Komatsu W120 models were produced by Diapet, as are the Fuso dump truck in the last post and this Toyota D100.

I hope that some forum members can help me to identify who produced these front shovel conversions of the O&K RH6 and RH9 from NZG and Conrad respectively??? The customization other than the cylinder sleeves is done in metal (brass?) and the geometry is excellent.

j'en ai presenté une ou deux dans mon sujet.
