Guys, I have had the pleasure of seeing this machine in person, as well as climbing abord it. I wasn't allowed to take pictures, but it is visible from public land, so I will be going back tomorrow to get what pictures I can.
This machine is not really based on either the RH400/6090, or the 495/7495. It's true that is shares the cab with the 7495, but the similarities pretty much end there. It is far larger than 6090, and it truly amazed me how much larger it really is.
For the record, there has only been one built so far. The second machine has had the undercarriage built, but the upper structure is not started yet. It will be built later this year, and should be assembled and ready for testing in April. They have not been able to build the upper structure of the second machine yet, as they are too busy with the 3 6090s they currently have in the factory, being built. Not to mention all the electric shovels they have on the go right now, even though they do keep the two types separated.
I am surprised they let you in the factory Brian after all the positive press you give there rope shovels LOL!!
